Annette Golden is a Sydney based composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist with a passion for composing music for the moving image.

Annette completed a Graduate Diploma in Screen Music at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS) in 2009. Since then, Annette's film scores have featured in a number of award-winning short films screened in major Australian and International Festivals. The "Lovesong of Iskra Prufrock" was a finalist in the AFI awards (short film category), and won the Beverly Hills Gold Shorts Award and the Newport Beach Best Short Film in 2011.

Annette's music has featured in Discovery Channel programmes including Animal Planet, Hoarding: Buried Alive (Series 2 and 3) the Haunted and Saved. Her compositions have also received airplay in Paris, Denmark, New York. Milan and Los Angeles, as well as live and broadcast performances in Sydney.

Annette has assisted the AFTRS Screen Music Department with their curriculum development programs for the Graduate Diploma and Graduate Certificate in Screen Music.

Her most recent compositions have featured in the documentary "In the Footsteps of Lawrence" written and directed by the internationally celebrated artist Garry Shead, alongside music excerpts from Peter Sculthorpe's "Fifth Continent". Annette is keen to work with other creatives in theatre, film/TV and dance, who are inspired by the power of music to enrich their storytelling.
